Positioned in the county of Beds in the East of England, the small town of Leighton Buzzard sits near to the county boundary in between Buckinghamshire and Beds, on the Grand Union Canal, the town has a resident population of about thirty seven thousand and a past extending back to the Roman era, at which time the historic A5 (then known as Watling Street) passed by the town.
