Located in the county of Beds, the charming town of Leighton Buzzard stands right on the county border betwixt Beds and Buckinghamshire, beside the Grand Union Canal, the town has a resident population of around thirty seven thousand and a historic past going back to the Roman era, when the historical A5 (then known as Watling Street) passed the town. Today Leighton Buzzard is linked to the neighbouring town of Linslade and is approximately midway between Luton and Milton Keynes, it is situated near to the Chiltern Hills and boasts a vital quarrying industry (sand).

The Story of Leighton Buzzard: It is considered that there had been settlements in and close to what's now known as Leighton Buzzard stretching back to unrecorded times, historic artifacts and coinage stumbled upon nearby show proof of this.
